The Educational Complex Kindergarten of ‘Shirakatsy Lyceum’ International scientific-educational complex re-opened its doors in June 1st of 2017 in a new location address 35, Artem Mikoyan Street (instead of the previous address – 3a Hakob Hakobyan Street). The kindergarten is the only educational institution in Armenia which teaches according to the certified program of the International Bachelor. By October 2017, 54 children attend the Lyceum.

For the physical activities of children and for developing their independent behavior, the playground and the nice outdoors environment are important factors.
‘The safer and improved is the environment and the playground, the less is the involvement of an adult in the child’s independent activities’ during our conversation mentioned Gayane Grigoryan, the principle of the kindergarten and elementary school.
Currently, the kindergarten doesn’t have a completely adopted yard. The area the institution rents was a house before. The area for the yard allows installing a playground, which may comply with the requirements of a playground-complex for 3 to 5 year old children.
The activities in the fresh air, has a direct positive impact on the overall development of the child, therefore the installation of a playground is an important step towards the betterment of the quality of the kindergarten’s work.
According to the estimations of the experts, the playground needs to have galvanized pipe, LLDPE plastic, anti-crack and anti-fade playground. Such a playground should be imported from China. The estimated price is 3000USD (the full description of the playground you may find in the Quotation).
The Development Fund of Shirakatsy Lyceum is convinced that the initiative of installing a playground is mobilizing for those who are concerned about the development of the younger generation. For this noble project, the Fund invites individual and sponsor organizations to collectively implement the project on children playground.
