The project “Lyceum without carbon dioxide” was an innovative scientific project. It was performed by 9th-grade students Taron and Gor. They claim that many studies have shown that the presence of carbon dioxide indoors reduces people’s ability to work, leads to drowsiness and fatigue. That is why, as part of their community project, they have already prepared and installed carbon dioxide sensors in three of the middle school classrooms. In the case of a high gas level, these devices use an audible signal to indicate that the room should not be ventilated. This, at first glance, this crazy, unique, scientific idea was supported by the Development Fund of Shirakatsy Lyceum. After months of hard work, our students have been able to create ten devices that have been installed in both Middle School and High School classrooms as well as in the Middle School event hall.
