Christmas trees made of books, Christmas hand-made ornaments and toys with interesting resolutions, many guests…

On December 23rd the Development Fund of Shirakatsy Lyceum welcomed the parents of the community and the guests with a wide embrace at the exhibition-Christmas fair event organized by the students of the lyceum which launched the Reconstruction of the Scientific Library project. The event took place at the Middle School reception hall of the Lyceum.

After the classical music and Christmas carols performed by the choir of the lyceum, the Development Fund of Shirakatsy Lyceum presented the first Christmas surprises- the vision of the scientific library through 3D video and the official website of the fund.

‘Desire, collaboration, surveillance and contribution- here are four guarantees for success. Our Fund has also revived its activities because of the interrelation of these pillars’ mentioned the director of the Shirakatsy Development Fund Mrs. Arpi Ajemyan.

The members of the Board of the fund Mrs. Anahit Khachatryan, the director of the Lyceum Mr. Ashot Alikhanyan and the author of the reconstruction project Mr Tigran Poghosyan shared with their greetings and the aspirations concerning the project. Mr. Poghosyan also presented the project of the two stored library, the resolutions and volumes of the work, the rooms and envisaged services and other financial details.

The artistic part and the launch of the synergistic cooperation towards the implementation of the project were announced by cutting a symbolic cake. The small Christmas trees made by the small students of the Lyceum, as well as the ornaments and toys made by the students of the middle and high school and other surprises were looking forward to the guests. During the reception the symbolic bookmarks were sold, which helped to define the winner of a lottery who took home a kindle as a prize.

Due to Christmas miracles, given promises, the charity fair and donations, an initial amount was collected at the start the project. And each attendee to the event took home the vision to start a new academic year of 2018 with a brand new library
